(More customer reviews)These mallets are GREAT for BEGINNERS! They are not intermediate or concert band mallets. They are plastic-handled, beginning band mallets. For the beginning student, these are a durable, inexpensive product that will get your child through the first year of band. After that, if the child is devoting himself/herself, and if the school requires them to have their own mallets, then purchase a higher quality set and hang on to these for your next child, or donate them to the band department for use by other children.
Beginner? Buy these!
Second year or more experienced? Invest a little more.
