(More customer reviews)I am a music teacher and I highly recommend this instrument. It has excellent tone, playability and durability. I got my first trumpet a yamaha trumpet a ytr-3520 20 years ago and its still going strong. These instrument cost over $1000 new everywhere because yamaha forbids anyone to sell it for below retail. Except on evilbay where their is a loophole. You can save a couple hundred if you are sure you son or daughter will stick with it!! You also might lose the warranty. The resale is not that great because their are so many kids that give it up and they flood the used market bringing the value down. A trumpet or brass instrument can be pretty safe to buy used. I do not recommend buying a used woodwind instrument unless you have it checked out.
