I've had a Yamaha FG-140 since I was 9 years old. 40 years later it is still one of my favorite guitars. I always wanted to get an acoustic pickup for it but didn't want to alter the guitar in an intrusive/permanent way. The Fishman Neo-D Passive Soundhole Humbucker pickup was the perfect solution. I just received it today and in a minute it was in place, ready to play. I plugged it into a Roland Jazz Chorus (JC) 120 amplifier and the guitar sounded clear and natural without any feedback or hum. The amplification is dead even on all six strings. I then switched on the chorus effect with some reverb (on the amp)and wow! The only drawback is it doesn't have a volume control. The Fishman Rare Earth Acoustic Humbucker does but for $60 less, this particular model sits very well with me.Fishman Rare Earth Humbucking Soundhole Pickup
