(More customer reviews)I purchased the LJ Hutchen brand trumpet from Hyson Music for my middle-school aged son and am extremely satisfied with the product. This trumpet is a quality instrument with excellent tone and smooth valve action. As someone who has played a vintage Reynolds trumpet for about 30 years, I can tell you that the LJ Hutchen is an excellent instrument for the beginning or intermediate musician. It also came in an attractive and sturdy case. In my experience, you will not find a better quality trumpet anywhere near this price range. My hat is off to LJ Hutchen company. I will also add that the folks at Hyson music shipped it REALLY fast. I ordered via Amazon on Monday night and had the trumpet on my doorstep on Thursday morning (in VA). It has been a great purchase in every respect, and my son is glad to have a shiny new trumpet!
